We ran into a couple clues toward the end that unfortunately malfunctioned and interrupted the experience a bit, but once we asked for help the game master figured out it wasn’t working and sent in someone to quickly fix it. The story really made sense throughout and had some fun reveals.
Every so often a phone would ring and your mob buddy would update you on how much time you had left until “the boss arrives”, which was very helpful.
The vibe of this room was very fun and had some great tongue-in-cheek, humorous moments. There were a lot of things to take in and multiple things that right off the bat seemed to be relevant so it took me a moment to figure out the starting point, but once we did it flowed from clue to clue pretty seamlessly. Walking into the room was already impressive, with one of the larger spaces I’ve seen at the beginning of an escape room, and it immediately felt like a real bar. It was at their West Hollywood location which has a nice storefront in a cool shopping area and feels less “stuffed inside a warehouse” than your typical escape room. We’ve had multiple positive experiences with 60out and had heard good things about this room. Unless you want to be sleeping with the fishes, you’ll have to find it fast. You look around and begin to panic You’ve completely misplaced the boss’s money and he’ll be here in one hour.
You’ve woken up in the bar after a particularly raucous night of partying with your fellow mobsters and it’s all a bit of a blur.
